As traumatic as divorce can be for the adults involved, it can be even more stressful and confusing for any children involved. Their emotions may include shock, fear, uncertainty, and anger at the situation, or their parents. Even worse, they may feel guilty, blaming themselves for their parents' problems. As one of the parents involved, it is paramount that you do all you can to help make the process less painful for your kids. These tips can help your children cope with the upheaval and come through it with understanding and possibly even a closer bond to both parents.
